The pick of February~

Another round of our 'artist of the month' section is finally here!!! Who is it this time you ask???

I present to you the great creator of cute characters SIMONE LEGNO and his work of art TOKIDOKI!!!!!!
TOKIDOKI means "sometimes" in Japanese. As Simone's designs are greatly influenced by his interest in Japan and its culture, he choose the word as he felt "everyone waits for moments that changes one's destiny by chance or by meeting a new person." 'Sometimes' also implies rarity and this brand is definitely rare and unique in its own special way :)

So what makes Tokidoki so special????
Well in my case I fell in love with the characters Simone created! Just look at those things! They are super adorable! Simone's talent lies in his ability to transform anything into cuteness~ Grim reapers usually known for their scary skeletal appearances are made into this!

Tokidoki has also managed to diversify itself into becoming a universal brand. What do I mean by universal??? Well TOkidoki has made many collaborations with well known international brands since the year 2009. From clothing lines, shoes, tech gizmos to toy makers and even makeup industries~ Among his famous collaborations are: Tokidoki for Hello Kitty, Sephora, Tokidoki X Marvel, Barbie, ONitsuka Tiger and a few others.

Putting collabs aside, Tokidoki as a brand itself remains a strong and much loved label~ It has apparels, bags, watches, tech gizmos (such as pendrives) and even skateboards under its name!!!! I personally love their bags! The designs are colourful, eye-catching and really pretty :D

I go GAGA for tokidoki bags! What about you??
